Outing with Study Group xD

Today I went to bugis with Valerie, Jasmine and Alicia. Sandy and Lee Hwee were supposed to come at first, but some things came up and they didn;t come after all. Anyways, we had alot of fun :]
OH yea, i forgot to mention: Jasmine and Valerie were both wearing the same shirt AND same jacket. So cool right? somemore they were both wearing jeans. Sadly they were not the same shade of colour. At least they can kinda pose as unidentical twins since they have the same height but different face :x Firstly we walked around for abit, then we decided to buy tickets. Cool thing was, other than us there was only 6 other people who booked, but in the cinema i think i only saw like 3 other people O.O. We were kinda early, so we went to take neoprints. MY FIRST TIME!! haha. KInda funny cause we were like trying to switch places in time but the camera went click and caught us candid. haha. We edited it around, had to chiong cause we were like going to be late for the movie. We took them, laminated (however u spell it)them and CHIONGED to the cinema. We were 5 mins 15mins late, so we missed the 10mins commercial and 5 mins of the movie.
I must really comment about the cinema seats in bugis: THEY HORRIBBLY STINK! RAWR!!. But good thing was that cause there were like almost no other people in the cinema, we had free seating, so i was not so unsatisfied with it. The movie was really nice, I liked it! oh yea i forgot to mention what we watched : Love Happens. There was one really touching moment. almost made me teary :x haha.
After that we walked arounf, looking around. Then we saw this shop in Bugis Street selling some SUPER COOL shirts! One of the shirts wrote this: 'I AM NOT SHORT. I AM FUN-SIZED.' SO FUNNY!!! haha. Jasmine and Valerie saw the shirt and they started laughing. then the salesperson also laughed. Cause both of them were like shorter and they stood together while me and Alicia stood behind them ( alot taller) so there was like a contrast and the person was thinking how it suits them :x. There was also other funny shirts, like 'Student + Dying = Studying' True right?? haha! also another one:

SO FUNNY! haha. wonder who designed them. I really must say they are pro!
Well, we walked around more later, and we went to THIS FASHION. Jasmine was thinking of buying a dress for her cousin's wedding or something, so she tried it on but she was realy shy :3 We wanted to take a shot of her in the dress. sadly we missed the chance xD
Anyways, went back home after walking around in iluma. Had a really great day today, but my legs really hurt alot from wushu training the previous day :/. Wushu camp on Thursday and Friday. Hope i survive T-T

Me and My Smart Advice :x

Yesterday morning, i went to Toa Payoh Library with my brother as my mum was bringing my sis to tuition and could drop us along the way. Went there to read comic books and time flew pass really quickly. Afterwards we went to the food court 'fork and spoon' to eat Japanese food (my classic). After the meal my mum wanted to buy desert, so i recommended the Durian Ice Kachang. My mum didn't listen, and insisted on wanting to eat the ice chendol. I adviced my mum and said nono! it would not taste nice, but she still didn't listen. Afterwards she regretted it :3.
We were supposed to go shopping afterwards, but there was no giant there and so my mum decided to go Shop and Save. Well, This was where my second advice came in handy. I insisted that shop and save is no good(even though i never went there b4) and i wanted to go Giant somewhere else instead. I said better listen to my advice or later u sure regret it. Well, my mum didn;t listen and later on she ALMOST regretted it, cause she decided when we were shopping halfway that we should go to GIANT since there were little fruits and the stuff were more expensive though it claims'shop and save'. ironic huh. So we went back home and later at night we went out to shop at PP.
We went shopping etc... blahblah. Boring part so i shall not mention. Then we went to Sakae sushi for dinner. It was nice, but i expected better >:(. Later on when getting the bill i saw the price then i was thinking... NOt possible, since my bro already calculated and it was totally OUT of the range. So i told my mum it was impossible ( second advice) and i insisted on it. My mum checked it and guess what, I WAS RIGHT!!! ONe of our orders was not avaliable, but they still counted the bill for it so i helped my mum to save about $20 :3
So yesterday, thanks to my three smart advice, i could have saved my mum from much trouble :3

Mr Sng's farewell party

Well, today was the last day of school, and we kinda had a talk and you know, stuff to celebrate the last day of school. But this year, it was really different. Instead of a year end party, it kinda ended up as a farewell party for Mr Sng, our beloved principal. He was the principal of DHS from 2005 till now, and he will be going off at the end of the year, which is reallyreally soon back to MOE for something. REALLY SADDENING. Mr Sng was a great educator, friend, principal to all the pupils and teachers in DHS. He was really kind and caring, and the BEST EVER PRINCIPAL you can ever get. DHS will definitely miss him....
We had many performances for him today, and at the end, he talked to us and we ended the whole thing with singing of songs which included our school song. Mr Sng was always trying to get us to sing the school song loudly, and so for his farewell party we sung it really loud for him. It was really touching..... A few of my friends cried along the way, cause it was reallyreally sad that he had to leave us. MR SNG, IF YOU EVER READ THIS, I WANNA TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE THE BEST PRINCIPAL THAT ANYONE CAN EVER HAVE. DHS LOVES YOU!!! YOU MUST COME BACK SOMEDAY! WE ALL MISS YOU T-T...

Results

Finally back on blogger. was too busy chionging and studying for the exams, so i didn't see any blogs, including my own for a longlong time. Straight after the exams i had to run quite a few errands, so also didn't blog, but i slacked xD. Anyways, SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVERRRRRRRR. haha :] i think i miss it already >.<
Well, this year i don't think i did very well for my EOYs. I maintained my GPA, but i still feel very unhappy with my scores, especially my Maths. RAWR. i can't believe i got an A. AN A!!!!!!!! thats such a big drop man. was really expecting a A+ or at least a high A. MY EOY maths test was like a high B. that was the worse =.=. i hate that ugly B for my maths. RAWR. Haiz.... can't do anything about it anymore. My Geography had a big improvement :]. Must thank Mr Lee for his caring guidance and funny humour xD. Oh but i must mention this: MR LEE, IF YOU EVER READ THIS, I REALLY WANT TO SAY THAT YOUR HANDWRITINGIS NICE, BUT MINE IS NICER! :x haha. only 2F ppl can get my joke. hehe. Anyways, my science did not bad, but could have done alot better. THe other subjects, same as per normal. Funnny thing was, my chinese teacher accidentally counted wrongly again and gave me extra 10marks. haha. That happens to almost every chinese test that we had, and it only happens to me... wonder why O.O.
Well, i got 3.4 for my GPA. Lucky, i was expecting lower xD. For those people who do not know what GPA is, its like A+ = 4, A = 3.6, B = 2.8, C = something etc.(can;t remember cause i have no Cs xD) only counting the core subjects, then find the average, thats your GPA to 2d.p. Well, my choice for streaming next year was triple science geog + AEP. If i dun get in i will definitely appeal. i DO NOT want any other classes.
Anyways, the most important thing was the journey, not the result. I must say that i must thank all my friends, family, teachers and other people who helped me in one way or another. I made may friends along the learning process, and when i was studying with some people i really bonded with them.....
